About RVA Eagles Youth Sports

As leaders in the community  we wholeheartedly commit to actively supporting our children's involvement in sports and their participation in RVA Eagles youth sports club.. We recognize the significance of nurturing a positive and encouraging environment for our children growth, both as athletes and individuals.
Our pledge encompasses the following:
  • Encourage:   Encouraging our children to consistently give their best effort, exhibit good sportsmanship, and demonstrate respect for team
  • Engage:  Attending games and practices whenever possible to demonstrate unwavering support and enthusiasm for their pursuits. 
  • Embrace:  To become and active role model for all our youth athletes in order to guide them in becoming well rounded citizens in a global community

Our  Mission

The mission of RVA Eagles is to wholeheartedly support the growth and success of the RVA Eagles Sports Club by fostering a united and empowered community of parents and guardians. We are committed to enriching the experiences of our young athletes, promoting a positive and inclusive sports culture, and providing essential resources for the development of well-rounded individuals.

By aligning our mission, objectives, and goals, RVA Eagles aims to play an integral role in creating a supportive, nurturing, and enriching environment for the young athletes of RVA Eagles Sports Club, helping them become not only outstanding competitors but also exceptional individuals.

Our Objectives

  1. Community Engagement: Build a strong, supportive network of parents and guardians who actively participate in the RVA Eagles  Sports Club community. 
  2.  Financial Support: Secure necessary funds and resources to ensure that every athlete has access to quality coaching, equipment, and facilities, regardless of financial constraints. 
  3.  Player Development Facilitate educational and leadership programs that empower athletes to excel not only in their chosen sport but also in life, focusing on character, teamwork, and personal growth. 
  4. Inclusivity and Diversity: Promote a welcoming and inclusive environment within RVA Eagles Sports Club, where diversity is celebrated, and every athlete feels valued and respected.

Our Hopes and Goals

  1. Increase Parent Involvement: Objective: By the end of the fiscal year, achieve a 20% increase in active parent and guardian participation in RVA Eagles Youth Sports activities and initiatives. Action Steps: Implement a comprehensive communication strategy to engage parents and guardians. Organize regular meetings and events that encourage parent participation. Recognize and reward active parent involvement to motivate others.
  2. Raise Funds for Travel Expenses & Supplies: Objective: Secure a minimum of $25,000 in funds through fundraising efforts to provide scholarships for athletes facing financial barriers, allowing them to participate fully in RVA Eagles Youth Sports programs. Action Steps: Launch fundraising campaigns, including online crowdfunding and community events. Partner with local businesses and organizations for sponsorships. Allocate funds transparently to support athletes' needs. 
  3. Leadership and Life Skills Workshops: Objective: Organize at least four educational workshops or seminars throughout the year that focus on leadership development, sportsmanship, and life skills for both athletes and parents. Action Steps: Identify expert speakers and trainers for workshops. Create a schedule for the workshops and promote them well in advance. Gather feedback to continuously improve the content and format.
